With A background in Fine Art and Illustration, I specialize in Character and Prop Concept Art for both Film and Video Games. Most recently I was Sr. Concept Artist with Daybreak Games working on a project which was unfortunately canceled. In my role at Daybreak Games I was primarily responsible for concepting Characters, establishing an over all look for the game, setting a quality benchmark, and developing workflows for the concept pipeline.

Currently living in Austin Texas, I have spent the past 5 years working as a Concept artist for both film and games, with 8 years having worked in film production. I have had the unique experience of participating in multiple aspects of production art, from Prop Fabrication, to Production Design, to Concept Art. My experience has given me a mastery of the creative pipeline, and a broad view of all aspects of the creative process.

My design process emphasizes speed and effective design, utilizing 3d, 2d, and digital sculpting techniques to provide effective and useful concepts. I maintain a solid foundation in 2d design, utilizing both Photoshop and traditional tools. Though I pride myself in my ability to adapt and learn new workflows quickly, as well as create new workflows to augment the specific project and its’ needs. I have a deep understanding of the creative pipeline, and enjoy collaborating closely with both Character Artists and Environment Artists, crafting concepts catered to the individual artists’ needs.

I am currently looking for a new studio to call home, and I truly believe I would be an asset to your studio, both creatively and personally. I thank you for taking the time to look at my work, and look forward to hearing from you.
